Kit Cheung, Ph.D.

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder

Dr. Kit Cheung has lived, studied, and worked in different places, from the fun yet hustle and bustle cities of Hong Kong and Singapore to the awesome Royal Mile in Edinburgh, Scotland, then to the fairytale-like Cambridge in England, and later to Baltimore, the crab cake capital of the world, before settling in the garden state, New Jersey, of the U.S.A. Dr. Cheung likes to travel to different places in Asia, Europe, and Australasia, to meet different people and learn about their cultures, and is also fascinated by the unique folktales from these places. Dr. Cheung has been awarded several academic prizes, including but not limited to, the Chevening Scholarship, a prestigious and highly competitive merit-based scholarship awarded by the British Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office, Cambridge Overseas Trust by the University of Cambridge, and has obtained a Ph.D. degree from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Cambridge, U.K.
 

Dr. Cheung has academic research experience in the areas of industrial development, industrial policy, international education, citizenship education, and policies, as well as business research experience in foreign direct investment into the USA, specifically helping foreign investors and businesses who are interested in investing in start-ups and establishing businesses in the U.S.

In 2018, Dr. Cheung initiated the
CAMathories® project and co-founded CAMathories Company with Dr. David Whitebread, Dr. Lorna Ayton,

Prof. Simone Teufel, and a few other alumni scholars of the University of Cambridge with the goal to provide top-notch quality early years mathematics education to young children around the world.

Dr. Cheung is also a proud parent of an early-teen student-athlete who is a saber fencer and has been a U.S.A. national team member of Kung-fu, and an ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) member as a music composer and publisher.

Ms. Stephanie Yang

Finance and Business Manager

Stephanie graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Operations Research and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering.  She earned her Masters in Financial Engineering also at Cornell University. Stephanie first worked as a Mortgage Backed Security Investment Strategist at JP Morgan Investment Management (JPMIM). She later transferred to London, becoming an International Fixed Income Fund Manager, serving as one of the main investment strategists for the US and Europe Fixed Income Credit asset class.

Stephanie retired 15 years ago to focus on raising her three children. She has actively been volunteering at various schools and for various fundraising events.  In addition, she has been an alumni interviewer for her alma mater for more than 10 years.  Stephanie is currently a board member of the Bravura Philharmonic Orchestra as well as the vice president for the Bravura Youth Orchestra. In 2021, Stephanie joined
CAMathories® as the Finance and Business Manager.

Mr. Po Shan (Sam) Yu

Regional Marketing Manager - Asia Pacific

Mr. Poshan (Sam) Yu is a committed yet versatile academic with extensive knowledge and experience in the fields of business finance and management, as well as marketing.

Mr. Yu started as a casual academic at The University of South Australia Business School and a marketing consultant for an Australian Chinese magazine. He then moved to China in 2015 as the vice president of Tinbowah Investment (Beijing). He is currently an adjunct professor/faculty at various universities in China and Thailand  (past and present), including Soochow University, SKEMA Business School (China), The Australian Studies Centre of Shanghai University, George Washington University MSF at Renmin University of China and Krirk University (Thailand).

Mr. Yu has diverse research interests and is published widely in the areas of blockchain, FinTech, EdTech, IoTs, startup, supply chain management, tourism, finance, IP, and digital marketing. His most recent book chapters include "Advancing STEM Education and Innovation in a Time of Distance Learning: Case Studies in China" and "Using “Digitalization + Intellectual Property” Management to Realize Cultural Economy: Case Study of Chinese Museums" and journal papers include "Innovative Financing: An Empirical Study on Public-Private Partnership Securitisation in China" and "Stock Payment, State Ownership and Innovation Performance in China’s Pharmaceutical M&As". He is also the associate editor of The International Journal of Interdisciplinary Research in Social Science of KCA University in Kenya.

Mr. Yu joined
CAMathories® in 2021 and is responsible for formulating and implementing the strategic marketing direction in the Asia Pacific region. He brings with him 15 years of experience in business finance, venture capital, and marketing consulting in Australia and China (including Hong Kong).
