Miss. Sofia: English Language and English Literature

Miss. Sofia

Our English Language and English Literature tutor, Miss. Sofia, is a graduate of Columbia University with a major in English and Creative Writing. She achieved a GPA of 3.97 and was on the Dean’s List every semester. She also holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in English (Creative Writing - Fiction) from the University of Iowa's renowned Writers’ Workshop, qualifying her to teach at the college level. She graduated from a top-tier K–12 liberal arts private school in New Jersey, USA.

Miss. Sofia has experience teaching a wide range of subjects and age groups, including language arts for children aged 6–12, high school English tutoring, an introductory creative writing workshop for undergraduates, and English grammar and conversation for adult ESL learners.

Miss. Sofia is available for 1:1 or 1:2 online classes.

Last-minute, one-off review of AP English Language and Composition or AP English Literature and Composition questions: USD95 per hour per student 

Rescheduling policy

Any cancellation or rescheduling of lessons requires 24 hours notice. Any cancellation or rescheduling within 23 hours will be charged a USD10 fee unless the teacher waives the fee for her/his students.
