Dr. Kit: Cantonese Math Immersion Class

Cantonese is spoken by more than 80 million people worldwide and is considered to be a hard-to-learn language. If you speak Cantonese and wish to extend the wonderful cultural heritage of Cantonese to the next generation and wish your children to learn fundamental mathematics principles, please register for our Cantonese Mathematics Immersion Program. CAMathories® Cantonese Immersion course is taught by Dr. Kit. Dr. Kit is a native Cantonese speaker and has taught British professional expatriates Cantonese in Hong Kong since the early 1990s.

You can choose online or in-person classes.

All online and in-person classes are parents-and-me. Parents learn Cantonese with their children.

Online classes

• USD30 per student (Online Group lessons last 40 minutes, max. 2 students per class)

• USD25 per student per 30 minutes special price for students (under 18 years old) in Hong Kong

Class schedule options (times are all in US EDT):

• Fridays 2:15- 2:45pm

• Fridays 8:30-9:00pm

All in-person classes are in North New Jersey, USA (Maximum - 5 students)

• For 4-7-year-olds:

  • 40 minutes per lesson for 2 students

  • USD38 per student

• For 2-3-year-olds:

  • 30 minutes for 2 students

  • USD25 per student

• 10:30am-11:30am in East Hanover on Saturdays

• A minimum of 2 students to start a class, and a maximum of 5 students in a class depending on the teacher's preference. To start a class, either form a group with friends or email info@camathories to join our waiting list.

Refund Policy (by enrolling, you accept our Refund Policy)

For those who enroll in our 6-lesson trial package:

• Before the first lesson starts - full refund

• After the 1st lesson - refund 70% of the total amount

• After the 2nd lesson - refund 50% of the total amount

• After the third lesson - no refund

For those who enroll for 1 semester (14 lessons):

• Before the first lesson starts - full refund,

• After the 1st lesson - refund 80% of the total amount

• After the 2nd lesson - refund 70% of the total amount

• After the 3rd lesson - refund 60% of the total amount

• After the 4th lesson - refund 50% of the total amount

For those who enroll for 1 academic year (28 lessons):

• Before the first lesson starts - full refund

• After the 1st lesson - refund 80% of the total amount

• After the 2nd lesson - refund 70% of the total amount

• After the 3rd lesson - refund 60% of the total amount

• After the 4th lesson - refund 50% of the total amount

• After the 5th lesson - refund 40% of the total amount

• After the 6th lesson - refund 30% of the total amount

• No refund after the 6th lesson.

We encourage you to sign up for a 6-lesson trial package first.

You cannot sign up for the 6-lesson package more than 2 times.

Rescheduling policy

Any cancellation or rescheduling of lessons requires 24 hours notice. Any cancellation or rescheduling within 23 hours will be charged a USD10 fee unless the teacher waives the fee for her/his students.

Small-group classes will commence once there are sufficient student registrations.
