About the tutor: Ms. Ching Man Wong

Ms. Ching Man has a B.S. in chemistry and an M.S. in physics. She is currently working on her physics Ph.D and has tutored chemistry, physics and math at college level for nearly ten years in addition to SAT tutoring for high school students. Her approach to tutoring is working through problems to learn how to solve them, and prioritizing content in practice over memorization so that a student can effectively apply knowledge over multiple subject areas. Ching enjoys plant and bird photography, word puzzles, solving problems and video games.

Any cancellation or rescheduling of lessons requires 24 hours notice. Any cancellation or rescheduling within 23 hours will be charged a USD10 fee unless the teacher waives the fee for her/his students.

Very patient and organized teacher

My 7-year-old son has been taking Cantonese lessons with Dr. Kit/Camathories for several months. She is extremely patient and kind and does a great job of encouraging my son to speak more. Dr. Kit is very knowledgeable in Hong Kong's children's games and she has a lot of patience in teaching my son Cantonese. Highly recommend Coral Lohsi!

We've really appreciated Coral Lohsi as my kids' Cantonese math teacher. My 3rd grader likes that the math is more challenging than the math he does in school, that she integrates characters that he likes into the word problems, and that she is very nice and patient.
