Classical Mahjong and Math Learning for Children and Adults

Each lesson, students will learn how to play the game and its strategies, the history and stories behind it, as well as the social implications of the game.

A class will begin when we have at least three students (aka legs) signed up.

Please register first by emailing info@camathories.com (no need for payment until at least three students (legs) have registered).

Each lesson lasts for 60 minutes.

Typically, students will be able to learn the basics and play on their own after 3 lessons.

Location: Millburn, NJ, or East Hanover, NJ

In-person only.

Teachers can also go to one of the students' houses if it is within a 10-minute drive of the teacher. If the drive is more than 10 minutes, the teacher will charge a modest travel fee.

One single lesson:

USD20 per lesson per student

3-lesson package:

1:3 USD50 per student for three lessons when three people sign up.

1:4 USD45 per student for three lessons when four people sign up.

Family & Friends package:

4 people in a group

USD60 per lesson per group

Each lesson lasts for an hour

Rescheduling policy: Any cancellation or rescheduling of lessons requires 24 hours notice. Any cancellation or rescheduling within 23 hours will be charged a USD10 fee unless the teacher waives the fee for her/his students.
