If the drive to the student's house exceeds 15 minutes, it will need to be changed to online; otherwise, a USD5 fee will be charged for each additional 10 minutes of driving.

Bio

Sara Fajardo holds a B.A. in History with a minor in Spanish from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, graduating with a 3.9 GPA. During her undergraduate career, she was on the Dean’s List each semester and was a proud member of the School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program.

Sara is honored to have been inducted into several prestigious honor societies, including Phi Alpha Theta (National History Honor Society), Phi Sigma Iota (National Foreign Language Honor Society), and Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest academic honor society in the United States.

Currently, Sara is pursuing her Master of Education degree at the Rutgers Graduate School of Education. Upon completion, she will be certified to teach K–12 English Language Arts and Social Studies.

Sara has hands-on tutoring experience through her honor society’s academic support programs, where she worked with both high school and middle school students in History, Social Studies, and English. As an alumna of Governor Livingston High School, Sara brings firsthand knowledge of rigorous coursework, having scored highly on the following AP exams:

With a thoughtful and encouraging approach, Sara strives to make every tutoring session engaging and meaningful. Outside of academics, Sara enjoys reading, running with friends, hot yoga, and improving her needlepoint designs.

Rescheduling policy

Any cancellation or rescheduling of lessons requires 24 hours notice. Any cancellation or rescheduling within 23 hours will be charged a USD10 fee unless the teacher waives the fee for her/his students.
